AYSO Region 148 is an all-volunteer organization. It takes hundreds of volunteers to organize and deliver AYSO for kids across our community every year. As such, our goal and expectation is that every family will find a volunteer to fill a volunteer position. Some roles are more time consuming than others, however, there are many one-time positions or projects that can be done at home.
Volunteering to be a coach, assistant coach or referee is done during registration or by contacting the Coach Administrator, Referee Administrator or a Division Coordinator (email addresses can be found on our Contacts page). Please see the Coaches and Referees menus on this web site for more information. Our numerous other on- and off-the-field volunteer positions can be signed up for at the end of the registration process.
In addition, the operation of our region involves many behind-the-scenes volunteers who work both during the off-season and during the season to make it happen. If you would like to be one of those people taking more of an active role, please review the positions below and contact our Regional Commissioner.
Description of Local AYSO Positions
We would like to hear from you with interest in ANY of these positions. There are so many ways to volunteer with AYSO. Every hand and every hour that you can donate is appreciated and helps bring more soccer to more kids.
In any given year there is routine turnover of Board members. Current board members may not be able to continue after this year and would like to train people to take over next year. All potential volunteers must first seek an open position, register as volunteers for the season and pass a background screening.
